Dora was in a good mood; we had a pleasant conversation on a variety of topics. She says she is still in pain, though, and is now using a wheelchair for mobility (in addition to her cane and walker).

Dora spent much of the visit complaining about her health. She did brighten up, however, in talking about places she’s traveled to.

My father is now 89 years old and suffers from Dementia. He is going downhill quite quickly now and has private care workers for half an hour in the morning and evening to administer his medications. It is not enough but it is very expensive to get more care for him for a longer time. As time goes by he will be needing much more help with his personal care.

Dora seemed fine today. We had the usual kind of conversation. I told her I would be away for Pesach.

Leya is a holocaust survivor living in the Hebrew Home for the Aged. She recently lost her sister as well. It would be wonderful if someone was available to wheel her in her chair off the floor in the facility in the morning and go downstairs or outside in the nice weather anyday from 10-1 Thank You

I’m still visiting Paula twice a week but there’s nothing new to say, we’ve established a strong relationship now – we know so much about each other so there’s nothing new I can add… I’ll try to write more beyond that we talked and had a good time together.

she is my Grandma. Even someone just calling her up to talk to her would be good. I will visit her tomorrow (unfortunately I live in Pittsburgh so can’t get to her) and tell her I did this. Sometimes it seems like it’s ok with her, sometimes not, but she is definitely in need of companionship. Honest and trustworthy companionship.
She has to take a lot of anxiety meds so sometimes it seems like she has Alzheimers chalila but it waxes on and off. She can walk and dress herself, and her body is in pretty good health knayna hara, She just needs to be around people.
Mr. Lubluner is 98 years old, lives alone and would like a visitor.

The survivor is my mother. Other than my sister or myself, she has no one to talk to and feels isolated. She would really enjoy someoned to chat with on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Please call me at 917-873-0537.
